Udh Hiya @20

A community of steady giving

Small Daily Giving,
Shared Udhiyah,
Lasting Barakah

Udh Hiya Mbuzi @20 started in Kawangware so families could plan Udhiya through manageable monthly contributions, instead of searching for the full amount at the last minute. Three rounds are complete: 35 goats, then 59, then 40.

Where We Came From

Udh Hiya Mbuzi @20 began with a simple question in Kawangware: can Udhiya be planned through small, regular contributions? The first group of members proved that it could. The programme now reaches Majengo, Kibra, Waithaka, Kikuyu, Utawala, Zimmerman, Buruburu, and Umoja.

Where We’re Heading

Round Four, in 2026/2027, is the next chapter: more communities, clearer guidelines, and a wider Udhiya. The same habit of saving has also opened Umrah Lipa Pole Pole, a monthly path toward Makkah and Madinah. Payment tools on this website are still a later step.

Our Process

How It Works

A plain path from a monthly contribution to a shared Udhiya, and then to the families who receive it.

1

Contribute monthly

Members set aside a manageable amount each month, so Udhiya is planned early instead of gathered at the last minute.

2

Plan the round together

Monthly meetings review participation, arrangements, outreach, and the guidelines for the coming Udhiya.

3

Udhiya, then distribution

Members take part in the Udhiya. The meat is packaged and shared with the families identified for that round.

Key Figures

35Round 1 goats

59Round 2 goats

40Round 3 goats

134Goats in three rounds

Payment integrations may be added in the future to make contributions easier and more convenient.
